“This morning, December 10 2016 at 8:30, Radar in his natural habitat, like he always should have been there.” – Adoptive Family
Parrot Resource Centre was contacted by a distraught gentleman who was searching for a good rescue to help him find the best home for his parents’ Congo African Grey. His elderly parents found themselves in the difficult situation of being required to move to a senior care facility. The son travelled extensively with his employment which eliminated him taking the Grey he had grown up with.
In Ontario there are maybe two or three rescues which we recommend, one was prepared to help Radar, however we knew of an ideal home that just might be able to help fifteen year old Radar. The family had network adopted three birds previously with us. It worked out perfect for Radar and his surrendering family, check out his new home in the photo above.
